A day between sea and mangroves

8:30/9:00 — Departure from your resort

Snorkeling, dolphins and natural pools

We pick you up with car and driver from your resort. The departure time (8:30 or 9:00) depends on the tide. We take you to the beach where the boats set off.

  • December–February: we head straight beyond the coral reef for the dolphins
  • Other months: Watamu Marine Park — coral reef, multicoloured fish, corals
  • Snorkeling for those who want it; glass-bottom boat for non-swimmers
  • Masks and fins available on board
  • A stop at the natural pools in front of the Garoda Resort — relaxing at low tide

Mangroves, flamingos and lunch

We head towards the Mida Creek mangrove area, rich in starfish. You often come across fishermen's boats at work on lobster and prawns. The monkeys can be seen from the branches above the boat. The pink flamingos are attracted by the shrimp.
