Frequently asked questions

Everything you wonder before leaving

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, from age 6 and up. The lodges have family rooms and the off-road experience is safe. Three days is a good length even with children.

When is the best time to go?

July–October: dry season, animals concentrated at the waterholes. January–March: "green" season, splendid landscapes. April–May and November are rainy months, less recommended.

Can the programme be customised?

Yes. We can add an extra night, combine a sea excursion on the way back, or start from Nairobi or Diani. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll talk it over.

Are vaccinations needed?

Yellow fever is mandatory if you arrive from a risk country. Antimalarial prophylaxis is recommended. Official info on your country's travel-advisory website or the CDC travel page.
